Heike Holstein and her 10-year-old mare Sambuca by Samarant (HANN) out of the Irish Sport Horse mare Astoria are seen here in action. We had the privilege of watching Sambuca being trained at home for the morning, Heike is a great supporter of Equissage and uses the Pulse as part of her every day routine in warming up and cooling down her horses.
In 2018, after a 13-year absence from international competition, Heike burst back onto the international dressage scene with her home-bred Sambuca, together with whom she recently scored podium finishes in the CDI4* Grand Prix Freestyle to Music at Royal Windsor Horse Show and in the CDI3* Grand Prix at Compiègne.
Heike and Sambuca are part of the Irish team that has qualified for Toyko 2020. Equissage Pulse is delighted to be part of their preparations for the season ahead.
